Reflection from last week:
How is everyone doing with their “4 you’re FOR”? Have you identified anyone who you want to be FOR?
It’s really early, but has anyone been able to be ‘in the corner’ for someone? It’s ok if you have not. Brain storm as a group some ways you can demonstrate and express your are FOR someone or in their corner (even a small gesture is a victory):
Do you find the idea of your 4 intimidating or exciting? Why?
What is one thing or one small step you can do this week when it comes to your 4?
Pastor Kent said, “There is nothing more important you can do today, this week, this year, or in your life than to build and strengthen your family!” What are some practical ways you can strengthen your family relationships and show your spouse, kids, or grandkids that you are FOR them?
Paul said to the Corinthians, “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.”
Have you had a person be that kind of example in your life, someone who was FOR you? What is a memory you have of them living that example out or demonstrating they were FOR you?
What comes to mind when you think of a church being “FOR Families”?
We believe that youth and kids should love church too. Pastor Kent gave a list of things our church does to be FOR families. We see somewhere around 200 youth and kids every week. How can you help our church be FOR families?
